Crab Potato Salad

Crab Potato Salad

Potato Salad Ingredients:

* 5 pounds red potatoes
* 1 onion, chopped fine
* 1 bunch of green onion,finely chopped
* chopped pickles to taste (dill)
* 2 cups of mayonnaise (more if you like)
* 1 package dry ranch dressing
* 1 pound crabmeat

Potato Salad Recipe Instruction:
First of all peel and boil potatoes. And then drain when fork tender; cool. Next is to chop onions and pickles. Mix all ingredients well; refrigerate several hours or overnight.

This crab potato salad is very good with a summer sandwich or grilled chicken. We eat it all year round. Also,you can use imitation crab if you prefer. Enjoy the salad !

IRISH POTATO SALAD



IRISH POTATO SALAD
Try this great Irish Salad...mmmm ! Great Potato salad...

POTATO SALAD INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed
  • 3 med.-lg. potatoes
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 c. finely shredded cabbage
  • 1 (12 oz.) can corned beef, chilled & cubed
  • 1/4 c. sliced green onion
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped dill pickle
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. milk

POTATO SALAD RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
First of all combine vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed; set aside.
And then, pare and cook potatoes in enough boiling salted water to cover 30-40 minutes or until done; drain and cube.
Next is while potatoes are still warm drizzle with vinegar mixture.
Sprinkle with sugar and 1/2 teaspoon salt; chill. Before serving, add cabbage, corned beef, onion and pickle to potatoes.
Combine mayonnaise, milk and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Pour mayonnaise mixture over corned beef/potato mixture and toss lightly.
Serves 6-8 persons. Enjoy the potato salad !

Potato Salad REcipe Ingredients:

* 1 ea small bag red potatoes
* 1/4 c finely chopped onion
* 1/4 c finely chopped celery

* 2 T parsley flakes
* 6 ea strips bacon cooked crumbled
* 1 ts salt to taste
* 1/2 ts pepper
* 2 T red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar
* 2 T vegetable oil

Potato Salad Recipe Instructions
First of all peel and cube your potatoes and cook until fork tender - drain and cool. And then in a separate bowl mix all the dressing ingredients - taste as you go cause you might need more salt or vinegar. Next after the potatoes are cool, toss lightly so not to mash the potatoes. Sprinkle with bacon bits and chill.

Hot Potato Salad Recipe

A flavorful potato salad with hot bacon dressing. Cool stuff....mmmm!
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Potato Salad Recipe Ingredients:

* 5 slices bacon, diced and cooked until crisp
* 2 tablespoons bacon drippings
* 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
* 1/2 cup cider vinegar
* 1/2 cup water
* 4 cups sliced cooked potato

Potato Salad Recipe Instructions:
Cook bacon; set aside. Heat bacon drippings; blend in flour, sugar, salt and mustard. Gradually add vinegar and water, stirring constantly until smooth. Continue cooking over low heat, stirring, until thickened. Add potato and heat through, gently stirring to mix. Sprinkle with reserved bacon.
Serves 4...enjoy the potato salad !

Homemade Potato Salad

Potato Salad Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4 large baking potatoes.
  • 1/4 white or yellow onion (optional)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup mayonaise
  • 4 oz sweet relish
  • paprika
Potato Salad Recipe Instructions:

Boil the potatoes until they are done but not overcooked I use the test here where I stick the fork in and it meets a little resistance but not too much. How long you boil them depends upon how big they are. You do want the potatoes done though since no further cooking is involve. If you overcook them, they don't really hurt the recipe since the extra potatoe just mixes in with
the creamy portion of the mixture.

Boil the eggs over medium high heat until hard boiled.

Allow the potatoes and eggs to cool. You can run cold water over them in a strainer to speed up the process.

Peel the potatoes and then slice into chunks. If you aim for 1 inch by 1 inch chunck you will do well.

Peel and slice the egg into 1/2 inch pieces.

Chop the onion into very small pieces. I made this optional because you WILL be able to smell the onion on your breath.
Therefore, if a little close contact is planned anytime soon you probable want to leave the onion out.

Stir all ingredients gently except for the paprika.

After all ingredients are well mixed, pour into a bowl.
Add the parika across the top. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Green Bean Potato Salad











Green Bean Potato Salad
Try this great green bean potato salad... It's just great.....Try it !
Potato Salad Recipe Ingredients:

* 4 cups sliced potatoes
* 2 cups fresh trimmed green beans, cut in 1/2-inch lengths
* 4 to 6 slices bacon
* 1/2 cup minced red onion
* 1/4 tsp. black pepper
* 1/4 cup vinegar (wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar are good)
* 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
* 1 teaspoon salt
* dash garlic powder

Potato Salad Recipe Instructions
Peel potatoes, halve then slice in 1/4-inch thickness. Place potatoes in a large saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil; cover and boil for 5 minutes; add green beans and more water to cover, if necessary. Boil for about 10 more minutes.

Fry bacon and drain; set aside. Reserve 1 tablespoon of drippings. In a small bowl, whisk olive oil and bacon drippings slowly into the vinegar; add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pour over vegetables. Crumble bacon over and toss gently. Taste and adjust seasonings. Serve warm or room temperature. The potato salad is ready to serve...great salad !

Potato Salad Recipe Ingredients:
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 6 hard cooked eggs
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 pound bacon
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • salt to season
  • 1 tablespoon celery seed
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
Potato Salad Recipe Insructions:

Cook, peel and dice potatoes. Chop onion and eggs and add to potatoes. Fry and crumble bacon. Drain fat.

Mix vinegar, water and sugar with bacon and then heat. Pour over potatoes. Add mayonnaise, salt and celery seed. Refrigerate...enjoy the potato salad !

Garbanzo-Potato Salad Recipe

Potato Salad Recipe Ingredients
  • 2 pounds of those tiny red potatoes, quartered and cooked until soft
  • 1 can garbanzo beans (usually I would just cook them myself, but this
  • was kind of a last-minute thing)
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 3 carrots, grated
  • 2 large jalopeno peppers, chopped very fine
  • all the cloves from a head of garlic, chopped very fine
Potato Salad Recipe Ingredients
Now here is how the sauce was made: I sliced a half pound of mushrooms and sauteed them in 2 tbl of balsamic vinegar. As they were cooking I blended together in the cuisinart a half package of that Mori-Nu tofu, a can (drained) of artichoke hearts and a bunch of basil and oregano from the garden. Then I added this mixture to the mushrooms and let it cook for a while longer. I mixed it in with the other ingredients and then added salt and pepper to taste...enjoy the potato salad !

Dad's Potato Salad

POTATO SALAD RECIPES

Potato Salad Recipes Ingredients
  • 3 or 4 mid sized Russet potatoes
  • 4 Tbsp juice from Kosher dill pickles
  • 3 Tbsp finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 or 2 chopped scallions
  • 1-2 hard boiled eggs, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Potato Salad Recipe Instructions :

1 Bring a pot of water to boil. Add the potatoes (skins on).

Simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from pot. Let cool enough tohandle, but still warm. Remove skins. Cut potatoes into inch sized cubes.
2 Put potatoes in to a large bowl. Add the juice from the
Kosher dill pickles. Add the finely chopped pickles themselves. Add parsley, onions, celery, scallions and (optional) hard boiled egg.

3 In a separate small bowl, mix mayonnaise with mustard. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix in the dressing with the potato mixture. Again, salt and pepper to taste.

Potato Salad Recipe INGREDIENTS
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 1/2 large red onion
  • Cheddar cheese (as desired)
  • Pepper Jack cheese (as desired)
  • 6 large pieces bacon, crumbled
  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Thousand Island
  • 1 tablespoon Ranch
  • 1 tablespoon honey barbeque sauce

Potato Salad Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Boil potatoes until soft. Cut into slices and mix together with mayonnaise.
Stir in the mustard, barbeque sauce, Ranch and Thousand Island.
Chill for 1 1/2 hours, and then add the cheese and crumbled bacon.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Add paprika for decoration.

7. Add 3 spoon fulls of mayo.

10. Add as much pepper and salt as you wish. Add a lot of pepper if you like things spicy. Add a little if you don't like things spicy.
11. Cut up celery and add to same bowl.
12. Mix all ingrediants up until it looks like it is good.

Potato Salad recipe INGREDIENTS
  • 3 pounds red potatoes, peeled
  • 1 large sweet Bermuda, Vidalia or Walla Walla onion
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 large golden delicious apple, diced
  • 1/3 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 20 large pimiento stuffed olives, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons white wine or tarragon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons A-1 Steak Sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
Potato Salad Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Boil potatoes until fork tender. Drain, allow to cool and when cool enough to handle, cut into cubes.Slice onions into quarters and then into thin slice. Add onions, celery, apples, olives and pickle to potatoes.
Stir together mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard and steak sauce. Pour over potatoes and combine gently so as not to break up the potatoes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Potato Salad Recipe INGREDIENTS
  • Russet potatoes (6-8 small to average size)
  • 1lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 (small) pimento peppers (sliced or chopped)
  • parsley, chopped
  • paprika
  • garlic
  • 3-4 bread slices cubed
  • 1 stick butter

Potato Salad Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Boil potatoes in jackets, cool and cube. Layer potatoes in 9x13 baking dish sprayed with Pam. Cube Velveeta cheese and sprinkle over potatoes.
Add 1/2 cup of chopped onions, pimento peppers and chopped parsley.
Sprinkle with paprika and garlic.
Cube 3-4 slices of white bread and sprinkle on top. Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over casserole.Bake 15-20 minutes at 350°F.

  • 3 pounds (7 1/2 cups) potatoes, pared, cooked & cooled
  • 2 hard-cooked eggs, coarsely chopped
  • 1 hard-cooked egg, sliced, for garnish
  • 1 1/2 cups finely shredded Swiss cheese
  • 3/4 cup finely shredded Cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2 1/4 cups mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 4 tablespoons milk

INGREDIENTS
  • 5 potatoes, boiled in skin
  • 2 dill pickles, diced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 boiled eggs, diced
  • 200 ml cream (a generous 3/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon dijonaise mustard
  • 1 stock cube

INSTRUCTIONS
Peel boiled potatoes and chop into cubes. Add pickles, carrot, onion and eggs. Mix to combine.
For the mayonnaise, heat cream in a pan, but do not boil. Add mustard and stock (bouillon) cube, to taste.Pour over salad and mix well.Can be served warm or cold. The potato salad recipe is ready to serve...enjoy the salad ! Nice !

PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH POTATO SALAD

PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH POTATO SALAD RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
  • 8 boiled potatoes
  • 1 stalk celery diced
  • 2 hard cooked eggs sliced
  • 1 onion minced
  • 1 T minced parsley
  • 2 eggs well beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar diluted with
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 slices bacon

INSTRUCTIONS

Boil potatoes in their jackets. When soft, peel and dice. (I leave skins on) Add celery, hard cooked eggs and onion. Fry bacon in skillet until crisp & brown. (Do not drain) Beat the eggs, add the sugar, spices, vinegar and water. Mix well. Pour the egg mixture into the hot bacon and fat and stir until mixture thickens. (abou 10 mins.) Pour over potatoes and stir to mix well. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight stirring once or twice.Part of this recipe we also use for hot bacon dressing that you can use to pour over lettuce for a hot salad. The potato salad recipe of Dutch's is ready to serve....nice one !

  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar, diluted with:
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 slices bacon
Make the same as above but pour dressing over a plate of lettuce for a very tasty salad.

ROASTED POTATO SALAD RECIPE

ROASTED POTATO SALAD RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 cups red new potatoes, quartered
  • 1 cup Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
  • 2 boiled eggs, chopped
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped & cooked
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 425 F. Place potatoes on 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan sprayed with no stick cooking spray. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown, stirring once. Mix dressing, eggs, bacon, onions, salt and pepper in large bowl. Add potatoes; mix lightly. The potato salad recipe is ready to serve warm or chilled. Makes 6 servings....enjoy it !

DILLED SPRING POTATO SALAD

Potato salad Recipe INGREDIENTS
  • 2 pounds new white potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped dill
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise, as needed

INSTRUCTIONS
First, cook the potatoes in a large pan of lightly boiling, salted water until they can be pierced with a thin paring knife (they will continue cooking as they cool in their jackets). Drain well, return to the pan and let cool to room temperature.
Second, peel the cooled potatoes and slice 1/4 inch thick into a glass or stainless mixing bowl. Sprinkle with the cider vinegar and season with salt and pepper, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Third, toss the potatoes with the celery, dill, green onions and mustard. Fold in the sour cream and then add in enough of the mayonnaise to bind the salad together.

Note:

The potatoes may absorb some of the moisture if you prepare the salad ahead of time. You may want to add a little extra mayonnaise as needed just before serving.

PINK POTATO SALAD RECIPE

PINK POTATO SALAD RECIPES

INGREDIENTS
  • 6-8 medium potatoes, boiled
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 1/4 c. dill pickle relish
  • 2 boiled eggs (if desired)
  • 3/4 c. Hellman's mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. Catalina dressing
INSTRUCTIONS
Several hours before serving, boil potatoes in salted water until fork tender. Drain and cool slightly, then peel and slice.
Pour Catalina dressing over warm potato slices coating slices well.
Allow to marinate in the refrigerator until cold. Add onion, pickle relish, boiled eggs and mayonnaise. Mix well and serve.Note: Do NOT use "salad dressing" in this recipe. The potato salad recipe pink is ready to serve...enjoy the appetizer !
